Caracas, 15 Ago (Lusa) - O Ministério de Relações Exteriores (MRE) da Venezuela emitiu quinta-feira um comunicado no qual acusa os EUA de promover a guerra do Cáucaso e enaltece a actuação da Rússia.
No texto do documento, a que a Agência Lusa teve acesso, o MRE venezuelano começa por expressar que "o governo e o povo da República Bolivariana da Venezuela celebram os passos dados a favor do restabelecimento da paz na Ossétia do Sul".
O mesmo documento indica que "a Venezuela seguiu com preocupação o desenvolvimento do conflito e em particular o aumento dos actos inaceitáveis de violência, perpetrados pelas tropas georgianas contra o povo" da Ossétia do Sul.
"Neste sentido, a Venezuela reitera o seu repúdio a todo o acto que vulnere os direitos humanos, particularmente o direito à vida", prossegue.
Por outro lado, o texto manifesta que "a ofensiva militar lançada pela Geórgia na Ossétia do Sul, sem qualquer razão válida, acendeu as chamas da guerra na região do Cáucaso".
"Esse conflito foi planeado, preparado e ordenado pelo governo dos Estados Unidos que, longe de promover o restabelecimento da paz na zona, deu-se ao trabalho de estimular as agressões do governo georgiano" explicou.
Segundo o MRE venezuelano "a comunidade internacional foi, uma vez mais, testemunha da recorrente política de desestabilização e incitação à violência que o império norte-americano costuma pôr em prática em distintas regiões do planeta".
Vamos a ver uma coisa, pessoalmente discordo de muita coisa feita pelos US e acho que Bush é um totó, mas a velha ladainha de todos os males do mundo serem devidos aos Estados Unidos já soa a argumento de filme de Bons e Maus... A não ser que todos os americanos tenham sido paridos pelo diabo, o que não me parece, não acredito em tão vastos poderes malévolos. Além do mais, os US têm as mãos demasiado ocupadas com regiões que já lhes dão "água pelas barbas". Dizer que a Georgia agiu com o apoio dos US parece-me bastante irreal. Apoio?! Que apoio? Moral? Não estou a ver o "apoio moral" servir de alguma coisa contra os tanques russos... Já a Russia, invadiu um outro país, com a desculpa de "defender o povo da Ossétia do Sul", onde já tinha tropas... E assim fez, com enorme violência e utilizando meios militares desproporcionados. Se tivessem sido os "Maus" ( US ), a net estaria a rebentar pelas costuras com indignação, haveriam manifestações, etc, mas como foram os "Bons", que mal faz a morte de uns ( muitos ) seres humanos?
Como se a Russia não tivesse já "roidinha" para intervir devido ás valiosas reservas de petróleo e de gás existentes na região... Ainda para mais haviam planos dos países daquela região que poderiam deixar a Russia a ter de beber o seu petróleo e gás, retirando-lhe assim o poder invisível que tem sobre a Europa.
Vamos lá a ver, não são só os "maus" que fazem guerras por causa de interesses económicos! Ou se calhar são todos "maus" ou apenas raça humana...

Tbilisi - More than 50 000 people gathered in central Tbilisi at a rally on Tuesday where leading politicians were making speeches, an AFP reporter witnessed.
Thousands more were streaming to the event.
Defiant Georgians crammed onto the Rustaveli Avenue, one of the main roads in the capital, where a sea of red and white flags hung above the crowds and people handed out free T-shirts reading: "We are together, we are united."

The hereby signers, are making a statement to express our support to the Republic of Georgia, currently being attacked by the Russian Federation, we are making a call to the European Union, the United States of America, and all peoples and nations of the world to repulse the current aggressions being performed by the Russian military lead by president Dmitry Medvedev and prime minister Vladimir Putin; our plead is to call the nations of the world and all International Organizations, to demand an immediate ceasefire and the removal of Russian troops off Georgian territories; we also call the Russian people to reject the hostilities and urge their government to return to peace.
